Wealthy opponents of the footbridge in southern Bend are spending heavily to overrule our local democratic voice. 

They tried to ban the footbridge in Salem in 2017. Then they got Oregon Wild to try again on their behalf in 2018. Those things aren't cheap. 

And while so many of these opponents say the footbridge will harm the scenic protected zone in southern Bend -- that never stopped them from putting their own lavish homes in the exact same place. 

To build the footbridge, we must persuade the Deschutes National Forest to listen not to special interests, but rather to the democratic will of the people of Bend. 

Your donation will help us create the public awareness to get the Deschutes National Forest off the fence -- and on the side of democracy, community, and the environment.
